A good hearing aid is not affordable for the average American. And cheap alternatives are not set for specific hearing damage. LifeEar offers a customized hearing solution that is also affordable.

Together with design agency Fabrique we worked on the strategy, interaction and development of an app that gives the user complete control over his or her hearing aid. A hearing impaired person can adjust all settings and create personal profiles for all kinds of situations via the LifeEar app. Because the sound on a busy birthday party is different than in a 1-on-1 conversation.

The accurate profiles immediately personalize the hearing aid. We not only made the hearing test in close collaboration with a hearing care professional; the protocol in which the results of the test are measured and from which a recommendation follows is the same as medical tests. Thanks to the app, the hearing aid is therefore adjusted as precisely as with a hearing specialist.
